Brrrrrrrrrrrrr (Back To The Future II)

I'm currently busy packing. I'm off soon on a 'Not Quite A Camping Holiday.'

It's not quite a camping holiday because:

  1. There won't be any tents involved.
  2. If there is a camp fire then something has gone horribly wrong.
  3. There won't be a whiff of a "Ging Gang Goolly".
But apart from that it'll be just like a camping holiday - well we'll be living outdoors at any rate. While I'm gone I want everyone who reads this to think nice warm thoughts and send them in my general direction.

It's for things like going on Exercise during the coldest part of the year that my middle name is 'Lucky.' I'm not holding out much hope of winning the £100 million Euro Millions Jackpot this evening.

If I don't:

a. Get caught.
b. End up with no network coverage.
c. Drop my mobile in a puddle.

Then I may consider blogging 'from the field'. It will hardly be Michael Yon but I might give it a go. Oh and if anyone fancies cheering me up then leave a little something in the comments box over the next few weeks.

Ta Ta for now.

Enjoy your weekend with your parents and I'll keep fingers crossed you have a good trip - can't think where. Keep safe.

All the best Universal.

I'll be thinking of you whilst I'm eating Pizza and drinking my "un cafè normale".

I also look forward to 'on the field blogging'
If you don't end up all asunder and caught that is.

I'm assuming you'll be cold, wet, dirty and hungry on this little trip as well.

Sounds like fun! Warming thoughts are in the post to a cold wet outdoor-esque place.

PI - nowhere very exciting and the most dangerous thing I'm likely to face is an amorous Ram.

Plark - 'cold, wet, dirty & hungry' - all of the things I've been trying not to think about, cheers!

I think an amorous ram would be quite dangerous, actually.

It's getting warmer here in Germany, if that's any consolation,to US. Minus 16 last night compared to minus 22 last week. Funtensee in Bavaria had minus 35 C last week.

Only minus 6 at noon though.
Keeping warm and thinking of ewe....

I feel compelled to book a weekend in Florida...I will be able to send warm thoughts to the whole family if *I* am in a warm place, myself.

Take care!

Poor US. I leave you with this thought, probably the result of spending too much time with 5 year olds -

Knock! Knock!
Who's there?
Freeze!
Freeze who?
Freeze a jolly good fellow!

Nothing worse then freezin your nads off on some training area. I really hate it when you get out of your maggot in the morning and everything is frozen white... especially when you forgot to put your boots under cover and they have frozen too... That sudden drop in temperature is enough to instantly change your sex.. ouch...

Have fun! will be thinking of you whilst I'm having my hot cuppa chocolate.

Don't forget to pop down the leisure centre: four sheep tied to lamp-post.
You did say it was Cardiff you were off to didn't you?
Mind you, I thought I saw you walking near a certain lock near a certain bridge with a crap pub on it yesterday, and that isn't in Wales!

Don't feed the bears!

And if there're puddles for you to drop your mobile into, it can't be that cold. (I'm typing this in 31°C weather.)

i'm wondering how it's all going, US. having fun ? if not, i'll chuck a warm thought in your general direction and seeing as i'm hopeless at navigation and haven't a clue as to where you are, you'll probably get it.
