I'm off on my bank holiday weekend. In an earlier post I explained that the army laid out the values and standards it expects of its' soldiers.
So what do you think they mean by Courage?

I was a strange boy, in a teenage paper I wrote down a definition for courage as "Standing up for your convictions regardless of your fear".

LMAO THANKS FOR THE WELL WISHING UNIVERSAL SOLDIER, BUT MY TIME AS A BOOTNECK HAS TAUGHT ME TO FIGHT DIRTY. I WILL TEACH YOU TO PARACHUTE WITH JUST A KLEENEX IF WE EVER MEET SOMETIME, THAT WILL IMPRESS ALL YOUR COMRADES.
D34D/The Boy - I think that's the important part.
Greavsie - although sometimes a few pints of Courage makes one very courageous.
Walter - thanks for your continued interest. Best of luck with that undercover job that we can't talk about.
Courage?
Err, answering honestly to "Does my bum look big in this?"
It was enough to make me consider a life of cowardice.
strength
obedience?
Standing up to BNP extremists instead of leaving it to others would be a start.
Excuse my frankness, it is not unkindly meant.
To stand fast in spite of fear.
To do what must be done regardless of personal cost.
In my case? The courage to run the other way. Very fast. (Always assumin' the Americans aren't behind me of course)
feeling the fear and doing it anyway
hehehe i got ur back 4 dinners....

WHY is Bloglines not telling me when you update?
I'm not sure what "courage" means according to the army but I'm going with the boy's definition.
Have a lovely weekend...
